AZEDE TRANSPORTS, owner of the www.paris-transfer.com website, provides transport services using chauffeur-driven vehicles (VTC), exclusively by reservation and at a pre-defined price. The head office of Azede Transports is located at 1-3 Mail Federico Garcia Lorca, 93160 Noisy Le Grand.

Azede Transports is registered with the Trade Register under number 882 101 850 and with the Registre des Exploitants de Voiture de Transport avec Chauffeur of the Ministère de l’Environnement, de l’énergie et de la Mer under number EVTC 093 181 917.

1 – PURPOSE

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the conditions applicable to transport service contracts concluded between Azede Transports and its customers. By using the services of Azede Transports, the Customer is presumed to have read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2 – FORMATION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE CONTRACT

The customer can request a service 24/7 via the Azede Transports website or by telephone on 07 82 84 32 02 . The customer provides all the information concerning his service request. The customer is solely responsible for this information, the following of which is considered essential to the contract: customer name, e-mail address, telephone number, date of transport service, pick-up location, drop-off location, pick-up time, number of passengers (adult/child), number of baggage items, nature of service (transfer, provision). Azede Transports sets the price of the service according to the information provided by the Customer.

Payment is made by credit card via a secure electronic system. By providing his bank details, the customer accepts in advance and unconditionally that Azede Transports may proceed with the secure transaction and authorizes his bank in advance to debit his account for the amount of the service. Once the Customer has confirmed his request for a service and paid the price, Azede Transports will send him, by e-mail only, a booking form summarizing the information relating to the service. The customer is responsible for checking the information on the booking form. If Azede Transports is unable to send the booking form by e-mail, the booking will be deemed to have been made in accordance with the customer’s request.

3 – RATES

Azede Transports sets the price of the service in accordance with the information provided by the Customer. Flat rates have priority over transfers. The prices indicated in our rates include VAT at the rate set by the regulations in force for transport services (10 % for transfers, 20 % for availability), driver service, fuel and unlimited insurance for passengers, tolls are included in the price. Parking fees are not included. The chauffeur’s hotel and catering costs are not included in the provision of services. 

4 – REGULATIONS

Payment methods accepted: Cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard). All transport services by transfer or provision are payable when the order is placed.

5 – RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION

5 – 1 – RESERVATION :

All reservations imply unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale. The customer and the service provider agree to comply with all the clauses of this contract. No modification may be made to the above conditions except by prior agreement between the parties. The present contract shall be suspended or cancelled ipso jure and without compensation of any kind in all cases recognized as force majeure (events external to Azede Transports) such as disruption of traffic, bad weather, demonstrations, accidents, breakdown or malfunction of telecommunications networks, shortage of manpower or materials, etc. The contract shall not be deemed concluded until payment for the order has been received. Failing this, it is automatically null and void.

All chauffeur-driven car reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance via the website or at the last minute by telephone, subject to availability.

Special features for station and airport pick-up :

As soon as you arrive, switch on your cell phone.

When booking, please note the flight or train number in ” additional information “.

For flights, if you don’t have checked baggage, the 15-minute wait included in the fare is usually enough. However, if you need to retrieve checked baggage and/or if you’re coming from a non-European destination, the time it takes to get off the plane, retrieve your baggage and deal with any law-enforcement checks will be fairly lengthy.

To avoid having to pay a waiting time, we advise you to add a 30-minute delay.

5 – 2 – CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION

A reservation can be cancelled by the customer, before the pick-up time indicated on the reservation form, by e-mail only to contact @ paris-transfer.com :

100% refund if cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before pick-up time.

50% refund if cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before pick-up time.

0% refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before pick-up time.

Any modification of the contract during the performance of the service may lead to a readjustment of the price.

5 – 3 – PRICE INCREASE / DELAY

Any delay by the passenger(s) in relation to the pick-up time indicated on the booking form will result in an increase in the price of the service, provided the customer informs the driver by telephone on 07 82 84 32 02 as follows:

-More than 15 minutes late: 10 euros

-More than 30 minutes late: 25 euros

-For each additional half-hour’s delay: 25 euros

These surcharges must be paid at the latest when the passenger(s) board the vehicle. 

A 20% surcharge will be applied to all pick-ups between 9pm and 6am.

In the event of the customer’s absence from the meeting place after the first 15 minutes free of charge, without any indication from the customer or response to the driver’s telephone call, the service will be definitively forfeited, with no possibility of postponement and no right to claim any reimbursement whatsoever.

6 – SERVICE QUALITY

Transporting people for hire or reward is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles may carry out this service and :

-With a professional card number issued by the prefecture.

-With a certificate of registration issued by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, Bureau de l’organisation du transport routier de voyageurs / pôle VTC.

-With a registration badge affixed to the vehicle’s windshield.

Azede Transports undertakes to provide or arrange for the provision of transport services in accordance with the booking form and in compliance with all regulations and legislation in force.

In the event of subcontracting, Azede Transports ensures that the persons and companies it uses meet the same conditions.

7 – RESPONSIBILITIES

Azede Transports is guaranteed by a reputable and solvent insurance company, which covers the risks associated with its activity in accordance with current regulations.

In the event of a dispute, Azede Transports may only be held liable if the Customer can prove that it acted wrongfully and that there is a causal link with the alleged loss.

Azede Transports’ Unlimited Multirisk insurance covers the company’s liabilities.

The customer is legally and criminally responsible for his actions.

7 – 1 – RESPONSIBILITY OF CUSTOMER AND PASSENGERS

The customer undertakes for himself and for the passengers for whom he has contracted Azede Transports to behave like a good father of the family from the moment he takes charge, in particular, by respecting the driver and the transport equipment as well as the following provisions:

-Compliance with the Highway Code (wearing seatbelts, car seats, booster seats, etc.),

-No smoking, eating or transporting hazardous materials. If necessary, your driver will make a stop along the way.

-No alcohol allowed on board,

-Luggage is accepted and remains the responsibility of the customer. Azede Transports cannot be held responsible for damage to and/or loss of luggage or electronic devices (telephone, tablet, etc.).

-Any damage to the vehicle caused by the customer will be charged in full.

-For all other damage resulting in immobilization of the vehicle:- Invoice at actual cost + immobilization costs + loss of sales revenue over an average of the last 3 months. In the event of damage leading to cancellation of the following service, a fixed charge of €150.00 will be added, payable immediately by credit card…

-Cleaning in case of vomit will be charged € 150.00 VAT included in addition to the service payable immediately by credit card.

-Small pets are accepted, provided they are in a carrier. Large assistance dogs are allowed.

Failure to comply with these provisions renders the customer and passengers exclusively liable to Azede Transports and third parties. Azede Transports declines all responsibility for the actions of its customers before and after transport. Azede Transports reserves the right to refuse to pick up, or to disembark, a passenger who does not respect these obligations, as well as an alcoholic passenger.

7 – 2 – COMPLAINTS

Any claim is only admissible within 5 days of the transport service concerned. Any dispute shall be referred to the courts of the place where AZEDE TRANSPORTS has its registered office.

8 – DISPOSAL / TRANSFER

8 – 1 – TRANSFER :

The transfer service begins at the address of Azede Transports’ head office and ends when the customer arrives at the agreed address.

8 – 2 – AVAILABILITY :

On-demand: transportation is limited to a certain number of kilometers when on-demand by the hour:

-25 kilometers for 1 hour,

-125 kilometers for 5 hours.

Any hour started is due in full.
